Welcome to My Personal Page
I adopted my amazing companion, Ruby (then Foxy) at the Montreal SPCA a few years ago.
Ruby was found abandonned on the streets of Montreal North, very hungry and tired... barely 1 year old. The SPCA provided her with shelter, food, water and care until I found this amazing creature! Not to mention they gave her a medical exam, micro-chipped her and gave her base vaccincations to make sure everything would be fine.
One thing I love, is that you AND the animal are evaluated to ensure for a perfect match. Just because someone 'wants' an animal, doesn't mean it's always the right fit. This ensures the happiness of both parties! They made sure that I could respond to her needs and energy levels. Ruby did have food posession issues at the beginning (which, I think is normal she must have been starving). The care givers explained what to do in order to correct that and even gave a manual to aid. Within 4-6 she was fine!
I plan on adopting another furbaby in the future... I will definitely visit the Montreal SPCA again to see if we can find a good match for my baby girl.
The work that they do to save animals in need is amazing and they cannot do it withuout our help! Anything to encourage... :)
